Take Your Sandals off. This is Holy Ground! (Exodus 3:1-15)

Pastor Aaron Ude, October 29, 2017
Part of the Reformation series, preached at a Special event service

God told Moses in our sermon text to take his sandals off for he stood on holy ground. When we come to the Lord's Word we stand upon the same holy ground that Moses did in our text and the same holy ground that Martin Luther did when God revealed the Gospel to Luther through his study of Scripture. How can we all stand upon the same ground and what makes it holy? Because here in the Gospel God reveals His holy gracious self and thus saves. Take the sandals of your heart. This is holy ground.
