Good Shepherd Lutheran Church has been established for the express purpose of serving its members and guests in the following ways:

A: Spreading the Gospel truth by regularly preaching the Word of God in all its truth and purity, by the administration of the sacraments and by the religious instruction of children, youth, and adults.
Matthew 18:20 For where two or three are gathered in my name, there am I among them.
Matthew 28:19-20 Go therefore and make disciples of all the nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit,  “teaching them to observe all things that I have commanded you;
Acts 2:42  And they continued steadfastly in the apostles’ doctrine and fellowship, in the breaking of bread, and in prayers.

B: Fostering Christian Fellowship and love among its members and guests according to Scripture.
Hebrews 10:25  not forsaking the assembling of ourselves together, as is the manner of some, but exhorting one another, and so much the more as you see the Day approaching.
Romans 12:10-11 Be kindly affectionate to one another with brotherly love, in honor giving preference to one another;  11 not lagging in diligence, fervent in spirit, serving the Lord;
