Faith Does not put Itself First (Matthew 18:1-20)

Pastor Aaron Ude, September 10, 2017
Part of the Sunday Sermons series, preached at a Sunday Morning service

Have you ever gotten into an argument about who should go first? The disciples do in our sermon text. But Jesus shows them that faith doesn't think like that. Rather faith gets into an argument about who should go last, who should get the privilege of doing the most lowly and demeaning things. That is what our savior did. Putting Himself first to go last. Putting himself first to take the sin and punishment of our sin. Don't argue with Him. It will bring only Hell. Rejoice instead for He has brought Heaven.
